It also includes visualization tools that help users understand how they allocate their time. By adopting MemTime, individuals and teams can improve their time management and boost daily productivity.
Time tracking wastes your time and money:
Billable hours are lost - because even with daily time tracking, the accuracy is only between 36 and 67%.
Can memtime really track EVERY program?
Yes, it really tracks all computer activities. Every program, document, email, video call, meeting and every browser tab. But you can try it 14 days for free to be sure.
Will there be a phone app to track mobile activities?
We have already started working on it, but at the moment only devices with the operating systems Windows, macOS, and Linux are compatible - so no Chromebooks, cell phones, and tablets yet. We can release mobile apps as soon as ChromeOS, iOS and Android allow activity tracking.
What is the difference between memtime Basic, Connect and Premium?
All products offer the same limitless activity tracking and time tracking. The main difference between memtime Basic compared to Connect, Premium and Enterprise: Basic is not integrated with a project software. This means you create your projects yourself in memtime - instead of importing projects from a project software.
MemTime positions itself as a revolutionary time-tracking solution that operates entirely offline while maintaining complete privacy for your activities. Unlike traditional time trackers that require manual input or constant monitoring, this German-engineered software runs silently in the background, automatically capturing every application and website you visit without storing any sensitive content or requiring an internet connection. The platform transforms the often tedious process of time tracking into an effortless experience that respects your privacy while delivering the detailed insights freelancers and professionals need.
What sets MemTime apart from conventional time-tracking tools is its unique approach to data collection and privacy protection. The software records your digital activities with surgical precision, tracking which applications you use, which websites you visit, and how long you spend on each task, but it never captures screenshots, keystrokes, or any actual content from your work. This means you get comprehensive activity logs without compromising sensitive client information or personal data. The offline-first architecture ensures that all your data remains on your local machine, giving you complete control over your information while eliminating concerns about data breaches or unauthorized access to your work patterns.
The software excels at bridging the gap between automatic tracking and meaningful time categorization, making it particularly valuable for consultants, developers, designers, and other professionals who work on multiple projects and for multiple clients simultaneously. Rather than forcing you to recall what you worked on hours or days later, MemTime provides a detailed timeline of your activities that you can easily convert into accurate timesheets and client reports.
This combination of automated precision and privacy protection makes MemTime an invaluable tool for professionals who need accurate time tracking without the administrative burden or privacy concerns associated with cloud-based solutions.
MemTime offers a simple pricing structure with a 14-day free trial for all plans. Billing is on a monthly or annual basis, with significant discounts for annual subscriptions.
